Come for a creative introduction to Día de Muertos and help build the community altar at the NoBo Library.

Join artist Maribel Arredondo for a creative introduction to Día de Muertos, a Mexican tradition that honors and remembers loved ones who have passed away.

You’ll decorate your own calaverita, a small skull figure filled with color and meaning, and choose whether to take it home or add it to the community altar displayed each year at the NoBo Library.

All materials are provided. No experience required.
