Halloween Pick-a-Flick!

A Sensory Friendly Film Screening

Join us and vote between four family friendly Halloween films for a sensory friendly screening.

Rise & Shine Community Supports will host Halloween Pick-a-Flick!. The afternoon opens with a mini costume parade, open to all attendees. Audience members will vote on which of four Halloween favorites to watch. The winning film will be shown sensory-friendly with closed captions: house lights stay low, the volume is turned down, and guests are free to move, talk, or step out and come back in during the film. Popcorn, seltzers, and treats provided. Open to adults with IDD, their families, support staff, and the broader community.

Titles to vote for in-person:

• Beetlejuice (1988), PG, 1 hr. 33 min.
• Corpse Bride (2005), PG, 1 hr. 15 min.
• Hocus Pocus (1993), PG, 1 hr. 35 min.
• Hotel Transylvania (2012), PG, 1 hr. 31 min.

Closed captions will be displayed.
